Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Hey Y'all.....here's my burb. Got it about 2 months ago. 1988 3/4 4x4 v20 Silverado! Came with new motor 5.7 , new tranny, new tires (goodyear kevlar mt/r).... and a bunch of other goodies! No lift yet, but soon. Of course the police stickers had to come off before I drove it. This thing goes anywhere I wanna take it here in the Rockies!

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Thanks! I've had it for about 3 1/2 years. Was in Florida to watch Daytona supercross and found it on craigslist in Georgia one night when the wife was sleeping. She's a trooper so instead of flying home we bought the K5 and drove it home. I've done a lot to it....paint, motor, lift, etc. not quite done with the interior yet.

I like the pickup tailgate on topless Blazers - looks better IMHO.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
My wife would complain about the weight of that stock crank up window Blazer tailgate...found this one in Buffalo NY in a basement in really nice shape off a 1975 pick up. That did cause a few issues with filling that space where the window used to be, but this cover I had made really seems to work well.

Here's a couple of pics from yesterday at the dunes. Time warp back to the 80's! We dropped the air pressure in the tires to 15 lbs and it got around surprisingly good in the dry sand.

Nice pis, cool Blazer, and I'm digging the stretched 250r. Looks like we were both at the dunes for the 4th, just a couple thousand miles apart.

Pics of my "84" winter/work ride. Bought it for $500 installed a 4" leaf spring lift (old one was 3" blocks front and back), new tires, and a $100 rustoleum paint job done in the driveway

My babies, i have completly redone the blazer interior, it was baby blue and black, now it is maroon. I bought the ranger for $400 at a junkyard, nothing wrong with it, super super clean. |

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
Just picked this up has 1 ton front and rear four wheel disk and a ridiculous zz454 pushing it. Motor is way to much and the fuel economy is about 4-5 mpg. Im going to install a new 350 with fuel injection.
