My son and I finished this 67 in April 2007. It has been a lot of fun. I highly recommend it.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Here are a few of my dad's 71 GMC frame off resto that we finished last year. It's pretty much all stock, except the seat was redone in cloth (cooler) instead of vinyl. The truck was a medium blue originally. Also the hub caps are obviously from a 80's truck, but they were NEW and I got them for $20 (!). It's a 19k original mile farm truck from Cameron, Texas. We had to replace both front fenders (dents) and rocker panels (pin holes). Nothing done mechanically but a tune up and brakes. Runs GREAT. We swapped the 3.73 rear for a 3.07 last weekend and it is much better out on the road. Now to fix the speedo...

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
I am new to the club, I recently acquired this beauty from the original owner about a month ago. I plan to leave it pretty much stock, just lower it 2/4. I have been reading a lot of ya'lls posts and learning from them. Let me know what you guys think of her.....

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
I was looking for parts for dad's 71 GMC C1500 Custom when I came across this 72 GMC K2500 Super Custom. I picked it and a rusty (GONE) but running 71 Cheyenne K1500 for $1500. That led to the 72 Chevy C10 SWB step ex military truck for $500... I have to stop looking and start working...
