Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I believe I read that at one time you were going to use 73-87 front suspension(if that was someone else's thread I apologize) Do you or any other board members know if the whole front suspension of of a 75-80s one ton van will work? Like off of a 19 passenger school bus (short bus)?

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I think they will work with a few minor mods. Like widening some bolt holes. As far as what I am running: I have Porterbuilt arms with 85 1ton ball joints and 85" chassis tech 3" drop spindles.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Unfortunately I need to try and sell Darcy. My family and I are about to move and we have had some set backs for the past month or so that has us behind financially. Its a sad day for me but life will go on.

I'd be sad to see her go but you've got the right attitude man. Good luck to you and your family!

I thought you'd decided to keep it. I thought the Nike store bought you some good will. Don't sell her you're going to really regret this.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Lol yeah it's more than the nike store now. With me having to pull Liam from daycare due to mistreatment and my main employee having a heart attack we've not had much money coming in. As much as I hate to and I know I'll regret it, it's most important for me to take care of my family. There will be other trucks. However there are something's pending, if they go through I may be albe to keep her.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I'm sorry to hear about your recent troubles. When my son was in daycare, I had to pull him out as well due to mistreatment. It's one of the worst feelings in the world.

I hate seeing Darcy for sale. I've been keeping an eye on the project ever since I made the trip out there to pickup the longhorn bed.

Good luck to you and may things turn in your favor quickly.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I too hate to see this but you have to do what's needed for your you and your family (which you are willing to). I will pray for you and believe that GOD's will will would be done in your life, whichever road that takes you down. May GOD bless you and your family. And you have the right attitude, when we stand before our makes these trucks (as much as i love them too) won't matter. Take care my friend.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Thanks guys. It stinks but life will go on. But just because I'm selling this project doesn't mean I'm done with these trucks. If infact I sell it I hope to be back in another project by the end of the year. I'm hoping anyways.
