Hey, Shawn. Haven't been on much lately. Just got caught up on your build. You have ridden the resto roller coaster, too, I see. Congrats on the new job! I am looking for a new job myself, and will probably end up back in heavy equipment, too. Not always easy, but pays good, lol. Anyway, talk to ya soon, and truck is lookin great, as usual!

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread

Thanks Matt. I have been using the truck daily and she hasn't missed a beat. I'm excited and ready for the 800 mile plus round trip to the L.A. area for the Brothers Show at the end of the month. In the meantime I'm saving for some paint and bodywork.

Red Sleds turn heads! On a side note, your experience has made me put a 700R4 swap at the top of my list!

700r4 is the only way to go and yes I am really leaning towards the original red, color code 510 I believe. I would post some pics but my truck hasn't been washed since I started the new job

Sorry I missed this. I got the kit off eBay. Was a Firestone kit, came with 1/4" line a tee and two shrader valves and 90 degree connection fittings for the bags. Was like $40 shipped I believe.

Thanks Dale. With working 60 hours a week I don't have a whole lot of time to get on here much and even less time to do anything to the truck. but I am looking forward to a get together real soon.

Shawn, I've gone back to work as an operator, so I know how it is to be short on time. I think about selling mine, too.
