Re: Project two tone.
I had the opportunity to see this truck in person and I can say that it is even more amazing than the pictures let on, I hope someday when both of our trucks are runners we can meet up and go cruising together.

Re: Project two tone.
Well Saturday after work it was nice and hot so I spent the evening cleaning and then sprayed some primer! Got a fair amount on and I'm very happy with how smooth it came out for Epoxy.

Re: Project two tone.
I picked up a Harbor Freight Stud Welder. It worked really well. Look for a puller that looks like a rivet gun. Here's a picture.
http://cdn.eastwood.com/media/catalo...p/3/p31014.jpg It worked really well. Nice and controllable.

Re: Project two tone.
Hi TJ!
WOW! Do you know what happened to the cab? I'm guessing some one rear ended your truck at some point in its life.

Re: Project two tone.
Thanks!
Quote:
Thanks Joe! I'm not sure, both this and the 64 GMC have those same creases....both were used for off roading and hauling wood so I think the beds slammed into the cab a few times. Neither truck has any frame damage. It's weird. haha

Re: Project two tone.
these ladder style frames flex a lot, plus the cab bushings on a truck that old will have lots of flex. The cab and bed slamming into each other like you said seems like the most logical answer.

Re: Project two tone.
REALLY nice. Made me wonder why I went with the V8.... Yeah I remember now there was a big old hole in my inline 6, LOL. It got me home with the hole on a cold rainy night so it did its duty!!! Looking really good.
