Thanks Jimmy I really appreciate it. I really want this truck to be something I'm proud of when I'm done which led me to make a lot of changes. I think the end result will be worth it. Has just been hard lately to not have my father be able to help me on it. I look to him for guidance as he can literally do anything and well I'm somewhat limited in what I can do. Plus it's just not the same working on the truck without him.

I have had the correct ones for a week now but haven't had the time to try them out. Probably won't be until next weekend before I can get that corrected.

Truck is looking killer!!! Keep up the awesome work. Don't sweat the spindles. The holes are tapered so you are only really drilling a 1/4" of the spindle. Cake walk compared to the stuff you've done already.

Thanks, I'm having a hard time finding the reaming bit to drill them out. I guess my problem is I really don't know what to use. I guess I can just get a 5/8" bit to do it too.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

Didn't get much progress done yesterday but I did get my Intros mounted up. I taped up the lips to help keep them protected, I think I might tape the whole face of the rim.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB

And here is the money shot. It was sitting on the tranny pan which was stopping it from going down that last inch in the front. I have a deep tranny pan and may have to go back to a stock pan. I still need to install the correct motor mounts and bolt the motor and tranny down so I won't know exactly what needs to be done until next weekend after I work on it a little more.
