I remember them all -- especially the drop side van. I looked at it like kids look at transformer toys.

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
1958 Chevy was one of the ugliest cars ever made. Not too surprising Cadillac designed something this ugly and thought it would sell. I wonder why they didn't go through with it?

I've always felt the same about the '58s. You'd have to go to the '30s and look at some Hudsons to top that.

How about this dealership that collapsed. Don't have the story, but there was an AD on the roof, wild!

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
I was back in the 40/50's Ran a oil distribution That would be my grandfather and my dad and uncle.
Dad and uncle learned to drive in that tanker. I would be the III hence why I like the picture. always thought about getting a reo 1.5 ton and making a custom camper look like that on outside would be cool. |

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
This thread is supposed to be about OUR trucks - Chevy and GMC - but since it's my thread and I love old trucks an REO passes muster. Let's see more!

Re: Our Trucks Doing What They Did - Vintage Photo Thread
