i had red rims forever, you would be surprised how many dumba** kids asked me, "dude, whys your rims red?" to which I reply, "cuz its badass and gives me 15 more horsepower" and then their eyes glaze over. lol

but on a real note, I think the red will go nicely with the black paint. maybe add some red pinstrping to tie it all together?

it will have red tail gate letters ,and all the bow ties will be red to i am thinking of shop truck door logos whuch will consist of red and white

yup. most reds look brownish to me, some pinks i cant even see. depends on color.

haha it worked kinda! i am gonna sand the driver door all the way down to metalo because the po did a cr@py job at repainting it it was red then it went to a darker metallic red and then another coat of it some time later so there are layers after layers of cr@p!

My first truck was a 1969 GMC. One day I would love to pass it on to my daughter or son to build (the other one gets my 66 Chevy) when they are old enough. Maybe by that time some guy named Rick will have some advice for them!

I like the faux patina look, back when I built model cars I would do this to make them look old. Just spray a few different colors of paint on em and start randomly sanding lol
