That's what I figured. I saw the post a couple days ago about not reclining. Just thought I would check before I post them on the classifieds.

Gotta have something to strap yourself to, especially when press the pedal on the right all the way to the floor.

Dennis, check this out for your harness, he custom makes what you want at a reasonable price!

yelp, ive done quite a few harness...and i get lots of PMs on this matter so ill just post some prices.... on LS engines (4.8 5.3 5.7 6.0 6.2 7.0) what i do is re-pin/re work your factory harness...i totally dissassemble the haness (seperate all the wires/ connectors), delete all the un-nessacery wires by removing them totally from the PCM, not by just cutting them and terminating them (dont laugh ive seen it done ), re-route the wires to go to the back of the engine for a cleaner look (stock truck engines have them coming off the front/side of the engine, not plesent to look at), also add a smaller fuse block for a cleaner look over factory, you get A/C circuit ran for the 'standard' price ( some places charge extra), and circuits for electric fans (not everyone will run electric fans, but the circuity will be there incase they want to in the future). i give
20 " of lead on the MAF wires (this is about perfect for most aftermarket air intakes),
there are only a few wires for the end user to hook-up and they are
- switch 12volts (hot in run and crank)
- battery voltage (constant hot)
- ground
- fuel pump positive lead
- TCC switch. this wire ties into the brake switch..
-----GUAGES -----
-speedo
-tach
-oil pressure
- water temp
- A/C clutch sw. (if running a/c)

the prices are for a LS series engines with a 4L60e or 4L80e trans.
for a cable drive throttle body, its 470$ and for a DBW its 50$ extra
(520$).this includes the mini-style fuse/relay block...
i can also get your computer tuned for a great street performer for an additional 125$

I have always liked the factory buckets in my Blazers. I'm 6'1, so I'm not the smallest person I know. Not sure how they would be in a truck, but that's my $.02.

I hope the seats work out well for you man! If not permanently, they should be good for a while.

lownfast, hope the job at LKQ treats you well. I use the LKQ up here quite a bit for my new job as a Parts Manager in a body shop near by. They always seem to treat us well.

Gerald, how do you like that compared to painting? It's a completely different world, isn't it?

Ya it a drive for sure, a solid 45 mins without traffic. I'm hoping to move to a location closer to home at some point. I'm more than happy to work a deal for anyone on here, depending on your location I may have to pass it to some one in that region.

It is totally different, for sure. I am running parts till they feel comfortable in my training to move me into a "CSM" (estimator) position. I don't think that will be too long. But it, is corporate. I like being up front, but I still get to go back and get my hands dirty if I need to. So, that is nice. And, if for some reason our painter isn't there...for whatever reason. I can fill in and shoot what needs to be done.

Anyway, Dennis, please update us. We stole the heck out of your build thread. Maybe you can use your new blackberry.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

too bad my camera wasnt better or even better yet wish you guys could see it in person. Rich Grant is a hell of a painter. turned out beautiful! i'm waiting on the body mount kit from lmc to bolt her down. my floor pan from captkaos (using 2 to make 1) should be here tomorrow along with the headers. i'm going to use some nice pin head bolts (thanks Billy!) for all the bolts on top of the core support and start bolting everything back on. Amy and i are also deciding what color leather to choose for the interior... a little ways away but atleast it gets her involved enough to not think about how much money i'm going to be spending

heres the seats i have decided to go with... http://www.discountvantruck.com/truc...canLowback.htm

i'm also liking these alot though.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hot-S...Q5fAccessories
