Shes a beater to me, exhaust manifold leak, a couple of oil leaks, heater don't work, rats nest of wiring hanging from under the dash, wood in the box is very rotton and theres a bit of bondo in the cab corners, bottom of fenders and the right side of the box. Truck looks awesome from 15 feet but as you get closer you see the inperfections but that's fine with me because thats how I like it, looks good but has character. Evantually it will have the pitina look but I like the way it looks for now.

1967 C10 that we bought in 1989. Originally a 250 with a 3 on the tree but was swapped to a 283 V8 3 speed floorshift over 35 years ago. That 283 now smokes all the time (needs rings) and will be swapped out for a 350. It also needs a complete bed, but runs and drives as it sits.

Here is my 68 K20. Needs a lot of work but runs like a champ.

This is when I first got it.

This is last month. New wheels.

Shawn, so good to hear from you and she was pretty. Yours was one of the first I saw when I joined the forum. Because of her, I've sold a '72, then a '69 until I've finally got my own '67. Just finishing trying to get her roadworthy for Run to the Sun at Myrtle Beach, SC next week. Not near as nice as yours, but she does have "buddy seats" which is a plus, and big back window.

Re: Let's see those slant noses. Calling all 67's & 68's, clips too.

Great, I started to buy a '68, lwb, all original w/ 45k miles. I wish now I had, auto w/ a/c, super nice interior. I've already spent my budget on this one and still have to replace windshield, rockers, cab corners, radio. Oh well, you live and learn. Looking for a set of 15x7 wheels, I have the factory 5 lug front discs and axles to convert, buying a 700-r to replace 350 auto. I want to do 4/6 at some point.

Sounds like you have a great start and an even better plan. Just keep it to one step at a time and before you know it it'll be done.....yeah right
