yeah right, my made up excuse would be that a bus load of Hawaiian Tropic bikini girls broke down on my street and I had to not only fix their bus, but offer them lodging!

oh yeah, my wife is spending the weekend with her sister at the beach, that part is true though! i'm pulling Mr. Mom duties this weekend.

Have a nice quiet weekend doing the honey-do's. You'll have plenty of time for the truck later. That is what I always hear anyway.

I am planning on visiting my cabinet guy on Saturday to order the bed wood... he quoted $330 a few years ago, let's see if that changed.

I really need to get pictures of my neighbor's truck its a 68 chevy C30. Its same color as yours 327 4bbl 4 speed pretty sure its original paint. Needs Cab corners and rockers otherwise pretty clean. Stake bed with extended wheel base. It used to be a power company truck. Be a good truck to upgrade to a k30 some day. Its a 3 owner truck.

Well, my cabinet builder called me with a $425 quote for oak, two years ago he gave me a $330 quote... looks like i'll be doing the Mar-K oak setup unless I come accross something else. I sold the NOS wood that I had, maybe I should have kept it.

Re: 68 K-10 SWB build thread - project Money Pit...pics galore!

I'm gonna do summit I guess. NAPA wanted $410 + tax... $387 is about the cheapest i've seen + their "handling charge". Once you finish wiring let me know, you can use my new father's day multimeter to do mine!

jegs was .50 more. that is cool what kind of meter did you get? i love electronics(tools)! i actually ended up getting a chain saw. my old one took a dump and had rented a chipper shredder for the weekend and had to have one! the rate i am going it might be awhile till i need it!

if you need any engine work or anything along those lines gettles in lebanon is supposed tto be very good. several people have given me there name, i have them making me a driveshaft. i was going to find one but there were none long enough with the right end yoke with out lengthing it. so he said he could make me one with all new parts for $200+- $20. just someone to keep in mind.

hey i wanted to show you what all came in the powerbraid chassis kit to help you decide with rebate. not trying to screw up your thread but want you to see how nice it is. the braid is very fleaxble and does not kink like the old wire loom. hope it helps you.

Hang in there Mike. there are other priorities besides the truck. but atleast your thinking about the truck and continuing to stock pile parts. The shop time will come.

keep an eye out, i wish I could find a matching one. The last one I bought from Ebay was not as the seller described, he refunded my money though.

not sure yet, some low light from under the dash would be nice at night. if i do, when i get to that point i can just grab a spare circuit or piggy back on to another circuit. i will not use all 18 circuits with out having to many accessories. might make a little ciruit board with a couple leds on it or something for just a little bit of light.

I think the underdash harness comes with door pins so it only works when you open the doors...

some LED's sound cool though...
