Re: Trucks in the Wild
I thought that the script was only applied to the bed on a fleetside back by the rear marker light, and not at all on a step side. This reminds me of guys putting "SS" emblems on their non-"SS" cars.

Re: Trucks in the Wild
I've seen some creativity in Chevy truck badges. One 69 to 72 K/10 Suburban I saw at a supermarket parking lot had a '' K/10 '' Badge the driver had modified by putting a Blazer badge with a C/10 badge. I think he also had a fake Door Handle and pinstriped door gap on his Door #4.
As to pic # 1029, Is it still a Longhorn if the chassis has been bobbed into a Duallie Rigger's Flatbed?

Re: Trucks in the Wild
If it doesn't have a 133" wheelbase, it ain't a Longhorn. That's the whole point of the script! FWIW, I have a Longhorn, and wondered for the longest time why it didn't have the scripts. They weren't used in '70, and possibly other years.
If someone cuts a long bed into a short bed, then what is it? We're all over the cheaters who try and get more money by bobbing them. Slippery slope, is all I can say.
