Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
81 k10, with a lot of performance parts on 37"s, I bought the truck barely running for 1200 when it only had a really bad distributor, i've only put on grill, cleaned it up, spray painted it, black mirrors from lmc, and radio

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
New guy here, Thought I'd post some pictures of my 83' Custom Deluxe, It's been through alot but I'm doing my best to bring the body back to original condition. Bought it back in april of 2009, and got T-Boned the same year on December 13th, two days before my birthday >_>
P.S. not sure if this is acceptable, but I hyper linked the images to my personal website, no solicitations, just me designing/modeling cars like like the picture below. |

The attachment is of the same previewed truck I showed in my last post. My friend is modeling an 84 GMC, so if I can get the model from him I can do some request renders for either model. |

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
i am loving the Mr.rust truck at the top, and the orange and black square above looks like my friends '91 same color combo and lifted
PS. ALSO i have a 1990 4x4 long box dodge cummins, how well would a '73 body fit on that? found a rust free body for a grand, i did some research and the wheelbase difference is only 1/2" so its just fitting the motor between the fenders, seeing if its feasible, thanks

My Old Blue
Lots of sweat went into this, bought it from an old man that was using it for a "trash truck" Some don't like long beds, I have both and this is still my favorite. 1976 Silverado

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
Here's my old 85 Sierra Classic which got some donor parts from a 90 Suburban. I ended up parting the truck out after buying a squarbody crewcab.

Re: How about some pics of 73-87 Long Beds?
That front bumper situation looks all too familiar to me. Got my old 85 Silverado stuck in a mud pit, and the guy that hooked up to me just "jerked" me till the bottom bolt on the tow hook broke. Top bolt makes it hinge right up through the bumper. Tell him to replace to the factory bolts with grade 8 bolts, and to keep it out of the mud, and he won't have a problem again.
