Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Wow, first video worked, cool. Oh ya I have 3" flowmaster exh. kit I bought and welded up to fit and 3" Super 44 mufflers, has Super copm Hooker headers too, really want to keep this truck this time around and finally pick away at all the little extra things a person doesn't have time to do to make it a step above, time and money, right. Should sound a little better once i get more miles on it, pretty tight with only about 500 miles on it now, should be able to retard it another 3deg for more torque.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Great choice for the exhaust....headers/3" duals/super 44's with a turndown dump right out of the muffler for me.

Hey 69GWC, what is the T221 you list on your truck, the T.case, is it a rockwell style case and how do you like the trutrac, my factory posi is wearing out and looking for an upgrade.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
In deep, i was going to go with the turn downs as I usually do, back built it 3" right out the back close to the poly fuel tank (see how that works in time) and actually kind of quiet in cab but loud behind truck, at least the wife will amuse me and go for a ride, she wouldn't in my last truck.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Yeah that's my TC , T221 Rockwell .
One thing i have to say is so far it spins both back tires everytime and it must send power pretty equal to both rears because it tracks real straight while spinning the tires. It does have some play in it, you can hold one tire and spin the other tire a half turn so I called them and they said that was normal (kinda shocked me at first and why i called) and that this was about the strongest unit out. So far all good. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I was considering a Loc-rite and also welding my front to match, that way i could leave the front unlocked till needed. haven't heard much on the strength of the loc-rite for abuse with 500 plus Hp, may not hold up well. Think my last quote for the rear was about $376 canadian.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here's mine it's a 97 sas 11 inch lift. Been an ongoing project for 5 years and it's getting ready for paint here next. have 2" cowl hood putting stock gas door on removing hook's off side, and colormatching door handles and mirror's. onto some pic's.
The beginning. Then mid life crisis and the current setup |

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here's mine that I just picked up. 1983 Blazer 350/SM465 with 6" lift and 36/14.50 super swampers.
Still unsure on whether or not I like the color. Plan is to redo interior and an exterior color change. But I'll enjoy it for a while like it is. Having too much driving it to tear it apart!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Yeah, it is a load color. Supposely it is 1970 mopar green. It is not as bad in person. The orignal color was silver. So I think I will go back that color but maybe two-tone with black down the center. Not sure yet. And the interior was blue, so I think that could a nice contrast in colors. I haven't seen too many silver blazers with blue interior.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Cool looking blazer looks great lifted. That's badass its a 4speed don't see many of them around. I had an '83 4speed back in the day with a built 350 and 33"s I sure miss it now looking at yours. I agree the only thing I would change is the color haha! Dagen that '97 sas swapped truck is pretty wicked as well. I bet its a blast to cruise in. Keep up the good work on it! Someday I wanna do a sas swapped chevy we will see though

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Found a '56 panel that I thought would make a cool looking mud truck.....after my GF saw this one I think I should see if it's still for sale. She Loves the pic!!! Made me laugh, she looked at it and said it needed some bigger tires. Yea, she's a keeper!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here's my 71, been down for 3 years undergoing a 5.3L swap that's just about finished. Got the original sm465/205 combo in it, had a 402 BB in it, stock 350 before that, and a 292 straight six originally. My dad bought her brand new on special order.
