Does anyone know this guy on Temecula, CA??? This truck has been on Autotrader for months and i've called with no answer or reply! I hate the blue interior on it, but love the rest of the truck! Its exactly like my old truck!

Shoot me now!!! I passed on this very truck several years ago, it was all stock and had a shell on it. It was handed down to a 16 yo kid and he wanted a Honda so stupid me didnt buy it for $4,000. I have seen it around from time to time over the years but do not know who owns it. He will never get close to that asking price, unless I hit lottery!!!

Thanks!

I think it's a 2.5 lift, or really close to it. Tires are 9.00X16... basically a skinny 35" and boy do they sling mud and snow

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Yes. You are right. That is a cleaner look without the horn and spotlight. Very nice. Like the colour too. The earlier picture didn't was a little darker and didn't show the colour as well. Nice colour.

Where can I get some? I've been looking for tall skinny tires for a dually for years. Right now I'm running 255/85/16s on my 97, about a 33x9. Those look like some Grand Prix RVT tires I had years ago, but mine were 14/36s. I'm building an 82 fleetside dually with a 4 inch lift, I dont want tires to stick out so if I could find some I'd probably lift the 97 more and put them on it instead. Tough finding anything to fit a narrow dually wheel and keep them apart too. I've got a 1.5 spacer between the rears so thats not a problem, but my rims are only 16x6

I just spent 20 minutes googling, found plenty of references and one supplier of military tires, but no retailers.

Please help me, I love the look of those tires!

Unfortunately, I really don't know. The truck came from Tennessee, I'm assuming they were purchased somewhere local to the PO. There's a couple places in my area that I can call that might know how to get a set.

I really like them though, the ride is very nice for a bias-ply tire and they aren't too loud. They shake a little at freeway speeds, but it's very mild... about like a radial that is maybe 2 ounces out of balance. When they wear out, I will try and replace them with the same.

I don’t “know” him, but he used to post semi-regularly on Dually Scene back in the day. I think his screen name was TwistedDually...or something along those lines.

In any case, it’s a sick rig. He built that hood himself.
