Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
I know that truck; I used to see it in traffic here in south nashville. Used to have hopsters, but I like the sport wheels on there too. Saw it on CL, saw it on ebay, glad it went to a good home. Are you close to nashville?

I like that! Nice stance and the blacked out trim and black centercaps set it off nicely. Very clean.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
I see 2 Caddy clips. Where are the NBS GMC clips?
Those spikes on the bumper of the green one could hurt. |

The green truck has a Caddy clip and a '03-'06 Sierra bumper. The blue truck is all Caddy. I have a '99-'02 GMC bumper on my Caddy clip, so trust me when I say I don't overlook the GMC bumper swaps on the Caddy clips, but I don't consider it a NBS GMC front clip. It's a Caddy clip with a GMC bumper. This is what I think of when you talk about an '88-'98 truck with a NBS GMC front clip, using the entire grille, lights and bumper from the GMC... Yeah, it all boils down to semantics, but still... Last edited by 1badgmc; 11-30-2010 at 03:47 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Ok you got me there, I was thinking that 99 caddy clip with 03-06 gmc bumper with spikes was cool. But then you went and post the 88-98 dually with newer entire clip is just badass. I've always liked that truck

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
The first pics of that dually I ever saw were back in '01 when it looked like this...
Shortly after that, in June of '01, I got into the wreck that bought my Caddy clip. I showed my bodyman pictures of that dually and we sat down and seriously discussed doing something similar with mine, but he said it would be "a real btch" to do. I decided that "a real btch" wasn't in my budget and stuck with the Caddy clip/GMC bumper instead. Last edited by 1badgmc; 11-30-2010 at 04:21 PM. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Here's an interesting one I have saved from a while back. I would really like to know more about the story and concept behind it.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
I wouldn't change anything about your truck, it looks killer the way it is.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Thanks. I do have an idea for the front bumper that I would like to do someday, but it wouldn't make a huge difference in the appearance. That's all I really want done on the exterior. The interior and powertrain changes I want are a different story. But I can't afford any of it, so I'll let it ride.
