Solidaxle,
It is against Arizona law to own 3 beautiful trucks at one time. Two of them must be sent to California at once! Nice job enjoy them and your family forever.

Besides being so nice, it is cool that they are all the same generation and yet all different in a good way, nice work. If they get to be to much I am in need of a truck again.

Thanks, and you are right, that is we are putting the two tone 53 strech up for adoption, it MUST go to California, because no one in So. Az has any money and a good home!!
I heard that it was four trucks so we sent one to Minn, last month!!
I had to build the trucks for my grandsons, but in the mean time (until they are old enough) I must make sure they are very well "broke" in.
They will get what is left over when I am gone!!

Luv those burbs man. In the past three years of searching for these trucks I haven't come across one over her in NW Pennsylvania. I got a panel and seen a few but wow would I love to come across a burb.

There are 4 of them on Oregon craigslist at times. 2 on the Portland and Seattle listing and 2 on the Roseburg listing. I have seen them off and on for a year. There was also a clamshell body on an S10 chassis for $350 on the Salem listing a few months ago.

That actually appears to be a '56, unless it just has a '56 hood. The "wings" on the '55 hood badge are on top, then moved to the bottom for '56. In any case, very nice truck!
