Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Good to hear from you Mike. Looks like a nice shop going up. With that height, looks like a partial loft might be in order for storage space you'll surely appreciate.

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Well, I guess it's time to stop screwing around! The #bigassgarage is ready to roll for now hahaha. It's not 100% done, but I can now get the truck moved over in the next couple of weeks. Already moved 2 of the 3 non-running vehicles into it

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Looks real nice inside now Mike. Is that sheetrock that you used on the walls and ceiling? I'd hate to be the one putting up that high ceiling! Still debating what I want to use for mine.

In one of our coal facilities in Texas, they lined the office with a material similar to white board because they wanted something easy to dust off. That's what I was going to do, but that would have meant I would have to do the installation and I didn't want to haha. |

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Thanks Brett! I'm actually wishing it was bigger in the garage space area lol. Hopefully soon I'll put a 4 post lift in so I can utilize some of that 17' tall ceiling space

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Well, I think I'm finally ready to start making some progress on the truck. I got the frame dolly completed so I can get the '47 up in the air and now I have some room to maneuver

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Ok, so I did a thing! I knew that I wouldn't be happy with the 350 I put in this truck. So, I found me an LS 6.0. It is an LQ4 out of a 2004 van. Mileage was unknown, but everything seems solid. Once I get it off the trailer, I'll start digging into it to make sure all is well. Then comes the added expense of putting it in the truck LOL.

I'm glad to see someone doing things to their project, seems all I have done for the summer has been watch things pile up on my truck! Sweet lift you've got there too!

Re: 69 GMC "Ol' Blue"
Well, it's been about 10 years of things piling up on this truck LOL. Thanks man! I love it. It's so nice to have the extra floor space haha.
