Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Its ok guys. I'll build another one! I have a great opportunity to buy a speck house my company is building. I really shouldn't pass on it so I need to get some funds together to make it happen!

Man....you know, you should remember that you can live in a truck, but you can't ride around in a house!!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I'll be honest with you guys. It would be hard for me to watch what the next owner would do to make it their own. I feel like I've always had a clear vision on what the truck should look like when its done. Oh well I'll get over it.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I read 44 pages of this thread, the first twenty something and you hadnt even started the project, big climax, get to the part where brown stops by and drops off the goods, 6.0's and 6L90's fall out of the sky and land in your bed. then to flip a few more pages and get blown away that the build is over due to financing and move issues. Knowing all the time how much you donated to PROJECT UNDERHAULIN and it being supported by us members on the board i just cant imagine you have to give up on your own project to the highest bidder on ebay. I was shocked when I saw bidding ended, happy when i read reserve not met, so Darcy is still yours for now?. What would it take for you to keep her finish her and never list it back on ebay?

Lol what can I say, you mention dually on air and everyone gets excited! 20 pages worth! Lol I still own the truck she's tucked away in the garage for now. I feel like my price is really fare and I won't just give it away so it will be here until the right buyer comes along. Who knows if that will happen though. I am in the process of parting a few things out and maybe I can keep the bulk of the project. I also have my 99 crew cab swb for sell so if I can sell it and maybe the 6.0 swap i will be able to keep the rest. We shall see.

As far as what it would take to finish it... Prob another 10-15k to get it the way I want it.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

A few pics from this past weekends garage clean up! I have had a lot of lookers but I haven't had anyone show up with the cash to buy her.
