Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Thanks MudMam...They're actually 20s. 20x8.5 and 20x9.5. I wanted to go 22s but did really want to modify anything right now. I want to enjoy like this for a bit. Maybe next year I'll go 22s. But I'm actually really liking the simplicity of these wheels.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
I would stick with them, they actually look like 22's with the body heigth so a 22 will prob look like to much, you hit it just right the 1st time.

No problem on the input, glad it rides good, would be way more stiff with a 22' wouldn't it, please keep us posted on more.
Mudman.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Wow Nick, your roads look slightly better than ours but we live quite a ways north in Sask also plus our time line is exactly same as yours, sometimes less depending on the amount of snow which up here is always a mystery.
Looks like beautiful country, remember many years ago as a teen my parents had a trip planned to Alaska but never did work out, think they would have really enjoyed the beautiful country, they are both gone now but still think of their dream trip. Mudman.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Added this as a driver around town... one owner 1980 new crate motor. So I decided it was too stock and needed a 3/5 drop and some new wheels. These old trucks are getting a lot of attention these days.

Thanks, not at the moment no. My kid and I enjoy it too much. Just installed new steering wheel and stereo system, LS swap is next on the to-do list.

No pics of stereo, went with the custom auto sound setup, aux cable and Spotify works for me! Did a Rockford amp, punch 3.5" in the dash and two pioneer 6x9. That amp really woke it up. Very happy with the sound.

I picked this old girl up today. 32 years ago. No it's not a typo. I happened to look in the glove box at my paper work because I knew it was in Dec, but couldn't remember what day.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Ok One more. I haven't done a lot to er. New rearend (pinion nut backed off and ruined things ), Clutch, starter, and a paint job in 1995. The seat needs to be redone, and the original wood bed is showing it's age. |
