Always stuff to sort out isn't there, good truck to start with. What are the specs on it, small block, auto. Any more pic's of it, under hood and cab.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
i may be wrong, but i think some 68s had the small window. early in the year as they used up the stock. or it could be a mutt. either way a cool truck.

Big window was an option in 68. My spid has it listed as an option.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
The big back window, also called panoramic, was an option in 67. In 68 the big back window was standard and the only window available.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
While I haven't looked much into it, there are reputed very early 68 small window trucks. Since the inital FMVSS regulations cited for the many changes in 68 did not become effective until Jan 68 it is possible, in theory, some were made.
But that said, I would also be interested in seeing this 68 SPID listing the A10. Even more so of a 68 (light duty) with a small back window. Having the big window RPO A10 Panoramic or a variation listed on the SPID is probable during transitions like this. It may have also be a "mandatory option" during the standardization process.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
I recently picked this truck up. I bought it locally in Canada but it came from Oregon a few years ago. It is titled as a 1968 but has a small back window. I've exhausted every avenue trying to figure out if it is real. The SPID is missing which would tell me it is not real. It has had an extensive amount of work done to it at some point. (Lift, motor, complete repaint in and out). I am going to remove the swampers and install 33"x12.5" on rally rims.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
I have a couple trucks. One is a 68 that I traded for a year ago. It is original except for the 350 crate motor I put in it. My other one is as 70 short bed that my Dad gave me 30 years ago. Started out as a 2wd. I'm having it totally rebuilt with 3/4 running gear with a 572 big block with a 67 front clip and wide bed.. It has been going on for 3 years. Hope to have it finished this summer.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4
It took me almost 9 years to buy it back, I think I will keep it for awhile.
