Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Not sure if you're asking about the color of my truck - the '49 GMC earlier in this thread, but if you are, it is FIAT 'Verde' from their 500s they came out with a few years ago, shot in 2K Matrix paint.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Crazy! That's the exact color I'm spraying my '59! It's a cool color. I was super close to spraying my '68 GMC that color, but felt it didn't fit. Though, I feel like it looks like a different shade every time I take a picture of it! The following 5 pictures are of the same panel, just in different lighting situations. I tried the red that you see on the dash, too, and wish I went with that. I ultimately used the new Toyota Cement Metallic Grey. I may go with that red for my '59 and use this Verde Chiaro Light Green from the Fiats on a '48 5 window that I just picked up.

Sorry, didn't mean to post off topic. Here's my '59. It's pretty low.

About a foot - the most I could and still have the fenders fit between the stake pockets. You can't tell from that pic but I increased the width of the bed about a foot to push the fenders out to clear the tires too.

Here’s a photo of my “Norma Jean.” It’s a 54’ and I bought it from my neighbor who had it in his family since it was new. Heidt’s IFS, 4 wheel disc brakes, 4” C notch, 525 HP built 6.0L/4L80E, Holley Terminator X Max, Ford 9”, 3:73 gears, and more.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Guessing the visibility across the bend. I understand that is creates quite a distortion of your view.

Yes the bend creates a distortion, its not horrible but its there. Plus I like the look of the two piece.
