Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"
Hey you mentioned ages ago about some new door seals from Precision. I'm real keen to see some pictures of them when you get round to fitting them. The trucks coming together really well. The experience and planning learned from your other builds is really showing on this one.

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"
How about a few progress pictures, I picked most of her up from Jewell Restoration last night.....now the fun starts we have roughly 2 weeks to make this look like a completed truck....notice I say look, I am realistic its not going to be done and there are things that we will have to go back and re-do ... but for now

Now I see why you took the time to cut and buff the frame. Wowzer!!! It all looks great, Mike! You going to have a way to show off all your frame, linkage, and suspension work in the bed?

Set that big beautiful Flex-a-lite radiator in , this baby is huge I bet she will keep her cool !
Put a little sound deading mat in over the Lizard skin...kinda overkill but LOL ! Hung the CPP behind the dash brake pedal assembly and CPP Hydroboost unit Getting all the Painless mocked up ready for my wiring guru Brock Payton to go to town on it ! |

Re: Slosh Tubz SEMA 2015 Build "BOOSTED BERTHA"
you could sand blast those covers with a verry fine kind of medium that way you get rid of those toolmarks in the pockets and get a kindoff satin cast look back for it same as the supercharger , you could paint and clearcoat them after to make them eazier to keep clean

What an awesome day to spend some time with you and Sarah and the rest of the gang at the shop.
At least I can say I touched Bertha and dribbled all over her chassis. This is the best week of my life so far spending time in Arkansas. Thank you !!
