Re: 198Plus build

Well the Firebird went under under the knife today. It's amazing what we found. This car had already had new rear quarters installed by another shop.........

Car when we got it.....

Removed quarters.....

This is what we found, new quarters had a butcher job on them......

That firebird is probably going to be at least a second faster without the weight of all that bondo.

It probably took him longer to butcher it than doing it the right way.

Re: 198Plus build

When I was a kid, my boss had a similar piece of Bondo like that on his desk. He had written "it looked good until it fell out" on it, and he used it as a paperweight.

Is it just me or is this build going in reverse. #605 it's almost done. The frame looks sweet.

I see you have your engine perches in the rear holes is that going to work out ok and what motor mounts are you going to use. I'm asking because I,m at the same point as you and installing a big block.

Re: 198Plus build

How much. I see there's one in Boise for 225. Bet shipping is a lot. I think I would be worried about the doors get dented.

Re: 198Plus build

These came from Sacramento. I wished they had been that cheap, I paid a primo price for these........Plus shipping

Lets don't talk about the doors getting dented, surely someone can read the writing on them....Dang I should have written it in Spanish
