and an '89 I just picked up for dirt cheap a few weeks ago. Currently getting a new 700r installed. If I decide to keep it, it will get paint and a 4" lift pretty quick

Long gone... Miss them so. First was the '57 Napco 1 ton. The '72 Blazer. Then the '77 conversion which almost caused a divorce. It was in primer when I sold it and the guy painted and flipped it. Miss em all. I'd really like to find out what happened to that Napco!

I wish my truck looked as good as yours. What did you pay for yours and was it a frame off restoration?

Yeah, the hummer wheels are pretty easy to get and with the bead locks I can change my own tires.
So far I really like them, I just have to decide what color to paint them, I think the black is a little much with the bigger tires. Gun metal gray maybe.
They put the tires/wheels under the truck nice, not sticking out like most of the aftermarket wheels seem to do. I do have to use 2" spacers to run them, there is also a couple companies that re centers these wheels at any offset you want.
Military tires start at $100 ea, I was going to go that route but I bumped into someone that was moving out of state and had to un load these tires and wheels as well as a truck load of extras from his build at a price that I could not turn down.
I ate PB&J sandwiches for a month after that one, but I'm happy.

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4

Just trade my 67 Acadian (Nova) for a 81 K30 with a 454 Sm465 manual 9" lift and 38.5" Pro-comps. Was a total restore 8 years ago with only 2,800 km's on since then, sat too much so traded for my restored car. Very happy with the trade and the truck. Here are a few pic's.
