hahaha all I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth...

as for updates: got the cabinet cleaned up a little bit got the old paint shining up and getting back to being a little glossy. and I got the locks all lubed up and working like a dream, since there's no point in having an empty cabinet... I thought I would just start filling it. so far I have 2 brackets which are as finished as I can get them at the moment and the exhaust manifold which I still need to have welded lol.. and I added a sticker which I thought would be pretty appropriate for the cabinet ...got a question, to make my truck level what size blocks should I put for the rear in between the trailing arms and axle? I will be taking off the rear auxiliary helper springs and plates and will be lowering the rear to make it level. and here's... the 67:

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

what size coils springs? I bought 2" rear drop coils for my truck to even it out but when I raised my truck up and measured the coils they were same. The original ones have 1 coil more than the 2" drop but I believe my coils have sagged over the years haha.

alright cool, ill try and go over there when I have 100 big ones in the wallet so that way I can pickup something else as well....

as for progress... yesterday I took the gauges out and put in a new bezel. ive always wanted to put a nice new chrome and black 69-72 bezel in since it looks cleaner not having the choke on the right and the lights and wiper all bunched together on the driver side. so I used the original plug and pig tails that I cut from another truck in a junkyard and made my own extension that plugs into the wiper plug in my dash harness so it could reach to the passenger side. so now I have a nice clean look when it comes to the gauges!
and as for the disc brake brackets.. I got the chunks cut out I didn't have time to finish the bottom cut out but today I will get the bottom filed out and the top cut out finished. hopefully I can knock out the same progress to the other bracket. I'm just happy to finally see it look like a bracket!

Re: 1967 Chevy CST aka "the loud truck"

Well since my truck still has the overload leads in the rear I'm going to keep them on until I'm done moving. I figure if my family is gonna be moving, why not keep them on so I have some help carrying the extra weight! so after we are done moving ill take them off and lower the rear.

OH. And I almost forgot. I graduated high school today! Now the truck is more then just 90% mine. It's fully 100% mine
