This 1970 Chevrolet Suburban is a three-door example that was refurbished and modified some time prior to its recent acquisition by the current owner. Finished in metallic silver with a black upper section and red pinstripe over a gray and black interior, the truck is powered by a 468ci V8 paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. Additional features include air ride suspension, a push-button AM radio, power-adjustable seats, electric windows, staggered-width 20” American Racing wheels, and a hidden rear receiver hitch. This modified Suburban is being offered on consignment by the selling dealer in Ramona, California with a clean South Dakota title.
Does anyone know who makes the rear roll pan on this burb?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

71 K10 project $2500. Not mine. This might be just what someone in Texas needs to make their C into a K.

https://portland.craigslist.org/grg/...379106608.html

Parts Suburban - 1971 4x4 custom c10
no engine
good frame and running gear
Th350 tranny
np205 transfer case
1/2 ton 4x4 axles
lots of floor rust - lots of bondo
Many good parts
Convert your 2 wd suburban to 4 wd
all glass is good except windshield
automatic steering column
I purchased for parts for my Suburban and have what I need
grill is gone now
not parting out - looking to sell the entire vehicle
have the title

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I sure do. And I'd prefer a 3/4 ton K, but would definitely take a 1/2 ton as a starting point if I could find one a bit closer. This one is real tempting though! I wonder how much beer Mike would charge me to store it on his farm until Im ready to tear into the project....

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 K20 $8900. Not mine.

https://corvallis.craigslist.org/cto...384579838.html

1972 Chevy K20 Suburban
Price is OBO
Engine:
GM 350 bored .10 over
Elgin roller rockers
Edelbrock single plane Torker II intake.
F.A.S.T. ez-efi fuel injection conversion
New poly fuel tank with In-line electric fuel pump.
Center dump Ram Horn exhaust manifolds.
New exhaust w/MagnaFlow mufflers
Serpentine accessory drive conversion with duel electric fans blowing through an all aluminum radiator. This truck never overheats; ever.
Transmission:
TH350 installed by local shop and under warranty.
Needs:
Body and paint. The rear passenger corner is the only spot I think will require replacement. The other rust should be workable for someone with auto body skills.
Interior needs the seats rebuilt and the dash is cracked in a few spots.
Front driveline is fully rebuilt but I haven’t bolted it back up yet.
I have a number of parts to include with sale

Re: Suburban and panel finds

It certainly is odd. I wonder if something corrosive got spilled on the inside at some point. Or it got hit there and never properly sealed after the repair. Looks like a good candidate for a body swap.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

road salt typical.. more on the right because a single leg usually spins that side and throws it all up in there.. plus that's the spare tire well side.. in the areas that salt, it migrates toward the shoulder as it wears off the roadway so heavier damage on the right is common

I had the same thought although I'm pretty sure I have a good '72 K20 chassis lined up locally. Mike and I are going to head out to take a look in the next couple weeks and hopefully work a deal.

68 C10 Custom Delux $800. Not mine. It needs lots but the entry fee is great! However I have my doubts about the whole 1968 thing.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/p...403979907.html

1968 Suburban, TWO WHEEL DR, Custom Deluxe...This thing is ultra rare and loaded...Orig 350/T400 combo, front and rear air, PS, power disc brakes, posi 3.23 rear, tach and full gauges, tilt steering, power windows and tailgate, came with 15x8 rallies, soft Ray tinted gass, rear spoiler/air deflector, roof rack, deluxe interior, two tone paint, towing package, deluxe chrome pedals trim, and some trim work down the bottoms of the windows that I have NEVER seen on another 'burban...
No...It's not all there..
Yes...It has rust...
No...This is not a "Wash it and call it good" burb...
But....
Yes...It has all the right original pieces...
Yes...They repro all the other stuff..
YEEEES...When you are done with it, you will have the most desirable 'Burban, in the most desirable year, with an option package we will call the "unicorn" RPO...
Not for the faint hearted...BUTT..

For $800, having it transported would still be worth it considering the prices asked for some...
