sold my red suburban. had to have this. It followed me home from Mecum. It was not its crowd. we will see how good of a deal i got.....

This is my farm truck/dad's daily driver '96 Z71. I s a 5.7 4l60e truck with 160,000 on it. It's supposed to be my daily but since I live on the farm and walk to work, dad somehow co-opted it.
 I bought it from a guy who only used it to tow a small camper to and from Florida on a weekly basis, so it's mostly highway miles!

Interesting how time flies...this was my first GMT400, an '88 with 38,000 miles on it. Hard to believe it's been 3 years since a younger, stupider me totaled it into a tree.

I'm working on a 94 K1500 Suburban for the Mrs's...
  It has had some upgrades, but nothing outrageous. Pretty solid and runs strong. My 93 K1500 Blazer (picture from last year) is about to see some down time... Since I need to rebuild the head (valve stem seals) I'm thinking I may as well upgrade to some Vortec heads.

my latest project
1990 350 Auto. loaded up with 68K one owner miles. needs paint work, AC, chunk the running boards and tires runs like a 68K mile truck

My son was looking for a older good shape truck to have as a second vehicle . Found this on Craigslist. '89 has some Miles's but new paint, bumpers, grill, led lights, all new rubber, complete new AC system, rotors, calipers, drums and pads, and interior has been redone. I tried to find something wrong, but couldn't. Guy spent much more restoring it than he paid for it.

Our 93, my father in law bought it brand new in Rawlins, Wyoming.
It just turned over 100k. It needs paint, but it's a nice clean truck. It has a 350 and NV4500. I'm gathering parts for a Vortec head and roller cam swap when I get time. Posted via Mobile Device
