Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
Did you consider black with (harley-davidson) orange insert? Maybe too Halloweeny?
I've always been a fan of orange with white two tone on these trucks. That was my plan originally, but the light blue on my truck has kind of grown on me.

I'd like to see a picture of one in black with green roof and wheels

I have a friend who is a pro on Photoshop Dale, but he is out the country currently, so when he gets back, he said he would get them done for me in different colours.

Orange and cream gets my vote. But then again the green is nice, with maybe the cab roof and side insert satin black

Not sure if you have ever had a black vehicle before.
A black truck will get dusty, dirty inside your shop in hours. I have a black Buick Riviera and never again. |

My experience is by the time you get it back into the shop, black is dirty looking.

Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
No problem Johnny , that does look a good combo . If I go down the two tone route, I still don't know if I prefer the roof and back of the cab in a ditterent colour but leave the doors and around the screen in the main colour . Two many choices , the roof only on the white does look good in you picture though

Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
Well I thought I'd try out my camera I purchased from eBay , so tonight after I got home I wired up my stereo , on my dining room table ( the joy of living on your own ) and then wired up the rear view camera . The result was very good and should make reversing into the tight place the truck lives in a lot easier .
The main reason for doing this is , I wanted to check it worked before leaving feedback and recommending it to anybody else .

Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
AT LAST THE CAB IS HOME !!!!!!!!!!!
Well this afternoon I finished work and headed straight to We weld in New Romney . To. collect my cab the guys down there did a great job and also put in etch primer for me . They also took me some pictures of the process mounted on the spit Once blasted they put it primer All loaded on the trailer ready to head home So on my journey home I called Rian and my mate Stephen from my bike club to come over with the offer of pizza , it works every time . So with Rian, Stephen and Trevor my neighbour who had arranged getting it blasted at mates rates , as he has the unit next door to We Weld , and another neighbour John from over the road, we lifted onto the chassis . Just love this picture So the next update will be showing some of the repairs . It's just finding the time that seems to be the problem at he moment , but more about that later .

Oh yes that's a great motivational photo! Looking like a truck again now and not just a pile of parts

Cab looks great by the way. Martin really lucked out with this one after he had to throw away his first cab. Pizza was good too, and we left him some for lunch today.

Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
PS. I think you need to point out, the cab is resting on 2" blocks above the cab mount points, to off you dropped it down a bit more, it would looks even more mean.
I want mine to look like that now too.
