Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

^Look through it for nice wood! He probably has quarter sawn white oak, chestnut, and other species that wood workers (like me) want. If you weren't nearly all the way across the country, I'd look it over for you. Check with local wood workers, if you can. Every once in a while, a treasure trove of really nice wood turns up. Don't take the wood to a landfill or burn pit, until you find out. You could be sitting on hundreds of dollars, at least.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

We have pulled out a few oak boards, but most of it's regular pine boards that aren't that old. We've salvaged as much good wood as we could.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Very cool to see a Suburban at work. I make my living out of my '95 Suburban. It hardly ever has hauled butt(s) except mine of the prior sheriff it was assigned to. I always liked barn door Suburbans and was disappointed mine was a tailgate model. I started out with 67-72 Suburbans, then 73-91s which where barn doors were the exception. Turns out, in GMT400s tailgates became the exception. I've grown to feel fortunate to have the hatch/tailgate for duties such as you show. Try hauling 16 footers in a pickup with no racks. I'd never do it, 12' is the limit there

Looks like a Medium Gold body with a Dark Gold roof. You don't see many of those. Nice.
