Oh wait, I know.
It's because I'm still hopeful that this works out and I will get the same tech support if I have a problem with mine, which isn't until spring.
Swamp I got a good feeling about getting it back!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Ray here.
To be fair to tech. I lack table manners when it comes to phone calls.
Your ether offended by it or amused by it!!
After 40 years of doing tech calls myself I can be to the point and a little short on talk time.
I have found I can tell shorty when things are going nowhere while on the phone...
And yes I have treated some people better than others for the same problem.

I do VERY poorly with doctors too.

Well still haven't heard anything back from FiTech. Last communication was Saturday. I emailed yesterday and never heard back. When I find out you all will find out.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Got this email From Jeremy today.

We had a guy with a truck that had a fuel line getting pinched between the body and bed – it would happen during acceleration – maybe check that out!

Otherwise, try out the calibration that I put in it. If it’s way off, first let it do some learning (no rapid movements of the throttle, and do cruising). Then make adjustments to the ACCEL FUEL stuff.

If you’re getting cold start problems (fires, dies, can’t fire again until key off) – I have a new fix that will be releasing in a day or so. It’s just a quick-fix to recover quickly from the brown-out that happens when the voltage drops when the starter hits and the power connection is not in a great spot. So, let me know, and I’ll walk you through the update (it’s easy).

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Got this from Ken.

System is fine nothing wrong or malfunctioning, needed some acceleration tuning and transient tuning…
You should be old to go.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

So at this point waiting for it to show up and put it on and see what happens. I know my fuel line isn't pinched anywhere. They sent a new o2 also. Also I have a new battery and it is direct wired to FiTech now so we will see.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

On a side note ordered up me some custom led headlights. I already have led headlights and love them!! They are perfect sealed beam plug and play but I want some like what I have but with a custom touch. So I will be letting the ones I have go on the low low lol.

They look like this. Low and high beam with projectors. And they have no yellow in them that is just how that pic looks. All nice bright white light.
