Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

this summer vacation haulings in near 100 heat and humidity, drank 5 gallons of water saturday in 7 hours, oof!

mostly hedge, locust, and sumac this year, ya know, the fun stuff

big pecan limb

and finally finished cleaning out the old hay barn I started on last year..

even hauled these guys around in the woods a few times

that bed wood we finished last year held up great, hardly a scratch in it

Your post revealed a chink in my armour...No pictures showed up on my side...only your captions so I read the captions then went to find out why no pics. Turns out it was a Web Tracking nanny on my side mistaking your image URLs for trackers and blocking them. I fixed the issue ( added this domain to the don't block list ) and then got the pictures.

HAH! Little helper was a surprise. D'oh.

you shouldn't have any trouble with dropbox domain, I don't ever even see ads in my profile

yah that little guy gave me a start.. I was resting in a decent breeze with my door propped open when I looked down and saw him.. then he wouldn't leave

Towing home a new project, maybe on the heavy side. Was glad that truck had its engine in the bed.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

My wife has a 66 chevy 3/4 that her daddy bought new in Dec of 1965. She would load it with 6500 pounds of feed and haul it 35 miles on a weekly basis

Post Working

Those dirt boxes are very popular in the South West, especially so when coupled with a competent operator ~ they look simple but it's not as easy as it looks, needs a deft touch .

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

good luck with your new implement! box graders are great once you get the hang of it.. my dad knew what he was doing and I don't but I can still get the job done

hard to capture the depth with crappy cell phone picture but the groundhogs had dug several very deep dens under a big hay trailer that parks there..

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Recently hauled home a wrecked 2003 duramax i bought from auction. My dually was broke down. I figured i was close to 10k. Little small block did amazing. I forget how good these trucks tow. Was about a 60 mile trip.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

The Burban has been earning it's keep lately. One of three loads that went the dump and a load of scrap iron to the scrap buyer.
Man the price of scrap is in the dumps right now. I took 900 pounds in and got $28.00 in return.
And I went shopping and picked up some trinkets.

Talking Dad's Pictures

In the 1950's & 1960's Pops took what he called "pictures of the inside of Abe Lincoln's hat" when he'd leave the lower lens cap on his Rolliflex camera....

Old picture...

This was over a decade ago. Sad, truck has been sitting ever since.

Happy to say, I started truck up and it still runs.

I sure do love the 67 thru 72s...

Bob

Edit... I am sorry, my photos were not right. I hope to improve.
