Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

I was looking for parts for dad's 71 GMC C1500 Custom when I came across this 72 GMC K2500 Super Custom. I picked it and a rusty (GONE) but running 71 Cheyenne K1500 for $1500. That led to the 72 Chevy C10 SWB step ex military truck for $500... I have to stop looking and start working...

its a 67 SWB wood bed 93 305 center bolt with 4 speed manual tranny. it has new Edel. intake and carb, new flowmax, 22" KMC SS, soon to be lowered or I might get rid of it to finance my k5 2WDs

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks

Here is me and my son in my 67 4x4. Still in progress but here are a few mods: body off resto, blasted and paint frame, swapped 67 axles out for 72, swapped out Rockwell tc for NP205, 4spd, installed 350, relocated tank to frame, installed origninal AC dash, tach dash, tilt wheel (looking to trade auto tilt for floor shift tilt). Installed new wood bed/strips, all new interior parts (weather stripping, carpet, sill plates, etc...) new grill surround, relocated 67 parking brake hand lever to 72 floor lever, blasted/painted rally rims, new trim rings...lots of hours into it, still needs lots more. Other committments have kept me from working on it for the past couple years.
