Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
I'd heard of these
Dagmar bumpers Postwar Cadillacs began sporting missile pointed bumper elements with their 1946 models. Beginning with the 1951 models, stylists began lifting these bumper guards up into the grille work, however by 1953 their shape and detail began to take on a bullet motif with the tips of the element being scored in the manner in which a bullet casing is shaped http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagmar_bumpers

Stout looking pieces, Mike. That sway bay is something else too - very cool piece.

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy
I am very impressed with the quality / thickness and overall look (the way they machine the ends) and that they are actual threaded links bars.. TOP NOTCH...and that front torsion sway bar is just the cat's meowwww!

Slick! Have you thought of running the sway bar through the framerail, instead of below?
