Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
32 years, so cool to still have the truck, wish I would have kept a few of my 135 plus builds for the last 30 years but had fun building all of them, have to wonder how nice the "one" I kept all this time could actually be, glad you have yours and all the memories that go with it, many more years to you Too Tall.
Mudman.

I really like those wheels. Are they American Legend Cruisers?

My hats off to some of builders and the rust they have to fight with. I've been really fortunate I didn't have hardly any rust when I painted it, only cab corners.

Wow, thank you guys so much for the compliments. To be honest I have been dreaming of this truck for a couple decades. I honestly feel like I'm 16 again , (BUT WAY SMARTER!!!)lol
I do have lots of plans in the future for My c10 and I am looking forward to digging in soon. This site is amazing and wanted to thank everyone on here for making it what it is today. |

Sorry for the delay guys. Here is the only interior picture I have. It's pretty clean interior but of course lots of work in the future.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
I'm a 60-66 chevy truck guy but I had to sell my 64 c10 to help my family out. But I had some cash left over and bought my first 73-87 style yesterday. Long story short I am the 4th person on my street to own it! It is a 1973 cheyenne super 10 cut down to a shortbed. It's still down the road at my neighbors house he is going to help me get it on the road again. I would make a build thread but I always seem to have to let my projects go. maybe this one will be a keeper.
P.s the rear bumper is not staying on there haha. Kinda like to put the origina tailgate and chain latches on but I can live with this one for now.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
I could be wrong but I swore he said it was an s10 rear bumper. Am I wrong? I wanted to put the sport style bumper. Unless it is the sport one and i am just a noobie about square body parts.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
It may be an s10 bumper. Hard to tell by pic. It looks a lot narrower than the sport bumper that belongs on there. That's why I like that one because it looks cleaner.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds Part II
Yes I found out by previous owner that it is an s10 bumper. He was the old that installed it. I will keep it on for now.

I haven't posted mine up over here. It's just been in the 4X4 section. You can check out the thread of how it went from lowered 2WD Diesel to lifted 4X4 Gas with 8 lug axles here.
