Re: Suburban and panel finds

I talked to the fella about that black burb on "Camaro" Island (supposed to be Camano) and he has someone coming tomorrow to put a deposit on it. Seems odd to put a deposit on something that is under a grand.

There is probably no paperwork , a lost title kind of thing. That would put it out of me having any interest. But I did tell him to give me a shout if the guy is a no show, I might drive up and take a look. Im only interested it for parts. Its super hammered and rusty.

He said he has had a ton of calls which shocked him. I told him btw its a 72 not a 68, sounds like I was the first person to tell him that.

Reposting from the pickup side. 72 Burban $6000 CDN. I was able to post the photos from the listing but it looks to be a solid body.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

72 C10 $10000. Not mine. Hard to say anything about this one due to the terrible photography.

https://salem.craigslist.org/cto/d/a...407299399.html

I’m selling my 72 suburban C10.
Brand new US Mags wheels and new tires.
All windows all around.
Air bags all around with single pump and tank.
Most of the rust it’s been fix over all very clean.
The motor does run but needs some carburetor work.
New windshield with gasket.
New radiator.
I have most of the information (not original seats or carpet.
Hearts with new flow masters and full exhaust.
Rear disc brake conversation.
Missing: tail lights, rear bumper and grill.
Please only people that are very interested.
$10,000 firm no trades.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

I guess I should have asked here instead of the truck site, duh...but I'm curious about the '72 Suburban in post #1103...are those tail-lights custom or is it something you find on Canadian models? Never seen those before?

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Those are a first for me. I'd bet that they're custom. No backup lights either.
Maybe a Burban built south of Texas?

I answered on the truck site . But I think they are trailer lights with an optional chrome bezel.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Nice looking 70 K20 with hatch and gate $26000. Not mine.

https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/...411616778.html

I purchased this truck from the man that had owned it for forty years. It was his hunting rig for 28 of those years and then sat after the motor was rebuilt. The suburban runs and drives as it should and lights work. The interior is clean. The rockers have minimal rust, floors seem good. It is in very good shape, although the paint job is about a 20 footer (meaning: flat and dry spots in the paint).

NEW
Bumpers, brakes and shocks all the way around, exhaust, locking hubs, 4" lift, new 16" steel wheels and tires

Power brakes, power steering, 350 small block (SBC), Turbo 350 transmission, Dana 60 in the rear and 44 upfront. Has a full-length original air conditioning system. The fan works but the belt is off of the A/C at this time. Comes with an early winch that was bought out by Warn.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

One of the best or at least appealing to an old man like me that I've seen in awhile.
Great driver but if you fix rockers and paint you have a lot invested..
These suburbans are only going up in value (or the dollar is going down)

The more I look at this one the more questions I have. Sure wish the had posted the SPID. Judging by the firewall it was a 504 poly green truck but, was the brown paint in the interior factory? And I really like the green rubber floor mat.
Really cool truck! If any one is interested in this one I would be willing to go check it out.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

It’s actually nicer in person. There was a large crack maybe filler on rear bedside but this was maybe 7-8 years ago and I believe it was repainted. It sits in a driveway local to me year round rain and snow

1967 Chevy Panel Truck $4,000. Not mine Looks like several other cool trucks in the background too. I've noticed that rigs from that part of the country don't seem to have much rust. I wonder if Floyd Tome was a Wyoming interior decorator?

https://eastidaho.craigslist.org/cto...419167600.html

I have a 1967 Chevy Panel Truck for sale. Manual transmission (3 on the tree) Asking $4,000 OBO. All reasonable offers will be considered. For any other information or to make arrangements to look at the truck, please contact me.
I am located 30 miles NW of Big Piney, WY.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Loaded 70 C10. Might just be the best one out there at the moment depending on the hinted at rust. And it's green too! Not mine. I like it when a SPID shows its 50 years of usage.

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/c...409913619.html

1970 Chevrolet Suburban 1/2Ton V8 it has the coil spring rear end that rides very smooth. This is a Tailgate model.

Loaded with factory options including 350 V8 automatic Air conditioning GM Custom Decor Front bucket seats and both rear seats with original interior and carpet.

This is an Original Bucket seat Suburban with a console. The interior is over 50 years old in original material.
I have never seen another one in person with this seat option most suburbans were bench seats.

Also has working Factory tachometer and factory AC plus other cool options.

It Runs and drives pretty good for a 50-year-old truck.

It went through a outside color change sometime in its life before I got it. Just the outside, They did not repaint inside the jams.

It does need the typical patch panels due to rust issues that most of these era 1967-1972 GM Trucks have. THE Patch panels are available online. The rest of the frame seems pretty solid AND is not rusty underneath.

Owned for almost 20 years, Reluctantly have decided to sell it. I’m Pretty sure I will never find another one with these options! It is a nice one and would be a Super cool truck when restored. This body style is on fire and prices are going up! Looking for a Serious buyer who really wants a 3 door Suburban.

Located in North Phoenix and I’m be willing to show between 10 and 6 PM. By appointment.

If still listed -Then yes it is still for sale!

Please don’t give me insulting $$ offers as they will be ignored. I know what this truck is and how hard it is to replace it!
So let’s be real! Work with me and I’ll be fair to you. Call. - 6 Zero 2 -216-22 77.

I’m old-school and would appreciate a phone call if you have an interest .

Please don’t text or email me I am not very good at it.

Please just call me Thanks! Eddie
