thats to bad because the biggest swap meet in the northwest is this weekend in portland and I'm sure you could of found something to fill any extra space you might have

Thanks for the pics Joe. So I guess you put wifes truck back together back together enough to pull it? For some reason I figured you would have big trailer. Looks like some fun!

You found a camper shell! Now it will grow on you, and you'll think "this will be great in the winter to keep the stuff in my bed dry".

Good luck on the trip, my the wind stay at your back and it be all down hill.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Thanks guys!!

Mike, the '66 is together and drivable, just in case we have any issues.

Randy,
I do like the topper, I drove to Chelsea to get it. I guess the used ones for these trucks are getting "rare"
It will be staying on until I have a place to store it.

Sunset by Denver, Co

I forgot to mention, I got the crew loaded down so much that I had to pull my 1" spacers off of the back to keep from rubbing the rear tires

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

I quess he is somewhere around Calgary. Last message was at around 7 and he was about 90 miles north of the border. Thats a ton of driving, I wonder how many times he had to stop for gas.

I will have to remember to take my Camera to get a couple pics. Too bad the roads up here are crappy, or I would pull out the orange beast to our meeting.

Again safe driving, must be about 1/2 way there.

Darren
