I don't know what it is, but the mix of the patina and brand spankin' new shiny chrome is just so awesome to me. Love your work, and the attention to detail is amazing. Nice all the way around.

thanx for all the great comments guys!!! its much appreciated!!! ive got one teaser shot for you guys. i will be posting some more up pretty soon..
i made a rig to mount up my camera to the outside of my truck to get some cool rolling shots!! it was a lil too bright so i couldnt get the shutter speed as long as i would have liked so im going to try again later. i will also explain how it is done! stay tuned

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

Great work on the truck and the pics really show it off well

I'm using the same finned tranny cooler on our burb, but dropped it behind the front bumper and popped some dimpled holes to allow for air flow...seems to be working well

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

glad you guys are diggin the rolling shot. here are a few more

and here is a pic with the rig still in the shot..

to do this type of shot i made a rig that i could attach to my truck. Also ive got a ML-L3 remote for my camera. It would actually work better with a second person to help steady the camera but it works ok. Im going about 5 miles an hour in these pics. you want a fairly long shutter time to get a good blur. turn the aperture setting up really high to keep it from being over exposed i used around 5 shutter speed and f22 aperture. It cant be very bright outside because it will be overexposed

here are a few other pics that turned out cool too

Coulter,

Your photo skills are top notch, too. Def magazine quality. Hey when you got it you got it, right?

I've shot some static HDR car stuff. I'd love to hear more on your post processing. PM me if you want.

Gorgeous work!

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

thanx guys glad you all are diggin the pics!!!

i took a road trip today to go help my buddy work on his f100. i know its a ford but its pretty badass!!! his plans are to drop in his 408 stroker, accuair, full resto on the interior, and get some steelies with wide whites!!!

i helped him cut his bed floor out and raise it!! actually turned out to be a fairly easy job.

also later that night i saw a cool bagged c10 with a 6.0 in it!!
not the best pic... low light and no tripod

If you took that low light shot by hand (not resting the camera on something) then you are either pretty steady fellow, or you got dang lucky !!
Nice shot !! ~again~ LoL

I agree with Ta2Don
creativity, ambition, fabrication and artistic skill put you and this truck at the top of the list for truck of the year. There are big money shops out there that don't put as much effort and thought into the details as you do.
and the Ford, its old an cool so I don't think we'll hold it against him.lol

well i had the iso setting all the way up so i didnt have to have a long shutter speed. thats why the pic came out real grainy though

thanx guys it means alot

ive been slacking bigtime on updating lately. ive got a few new things done to the truck and have been driving it around alot. a few weeks ago i went to a local carshow and got to meet some members of the forum (Ta2Don Clemdaddy Kieth and sigshooter)
it was really cool to talk with all of them and check out their trucks
here are some pics from the show

after that show i drove to a different town for a cruise night and met up with some buddys

thats only about half of the update. i have a lot more photos to upload so stay tuned
