Thanks John! me too buddy... me too.

Well i talked to Chris(captkaos) yesterday and he's tracking down my floor pan. he said it should have been here over a week ago he's going to express out another one monday if he cant find out what happened to it. What an awesome guy to deal with. I emailed asking what was going on he called me a few minutes later and started trying to track it down!

Rich Grant(my painter) is just itching to get ahold of the cab. hoping to get the pan in and the cab to him this week...

thanks man, the headers are S&P's. i'm not really familiar with the 4 X's so i dont know for sure. i do know that they are midlength headers made for our trucks. i'd give Cobry or Phil a call over there.

thanks Travis, the current tires are 295/50/15's all around with the 8.5" wide Ansen's. the back space is 3.5".

The Painless chassis wiring kit is worth every single penny! I used one on my 83 K10 and have not had one single electrical problem. It's worth the peace of mind too. It did take 2 solid days to do everything, but the result is worth the trouble. When you first get it and open the box you may want to shoot yourself. Just sit down with a cold beverage of your choice and read the directions several times in a row, and lay all the wiring out on the floor and study it for several hours! Based on reading your entire thread, and seeing your attention to detail I doubt you'll have any problems, you may even consider yourself to be a wiring expert when your done! Good luck!

The correct floorpan is being next day aired. You should have it today. Let me know if it doesn't show up.

This is the one that I ordered for mine. My uncle used it in his 85, and just had to put some spacers at the bottom to raise it up. It was cheaper than the actual "direct fit" one, and was the same dimensions.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)

they are 'supposed to be direct fit with the ls mods done to them... all made in the USA, all hand welded. there's a thread on the 67+ side about them. really nice looking product.

Before you order the Entropy Technology, call Performance Radiator. They are all over the country. I have had pretty good luck with them in the past. They may offer the right radiator for your needs for Silver. Performanceradiator.com

You're really setting the bar for a restomod truck.

Now I know what I need to beat at least

This may be challenging
