Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I put on a 60th B-day party for my wife last week and borrowed a rather large cooer to carry ice. With the almost 100 lb. cooler plus 300 lbs. of ice + beer, wine, water, and other drinks the truck had a pretty good load.

The party was held at the local Maritime Museum I volunteer at right on the harbor. 60 people live band and a good time by all.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

Been gone for a while, but found a set of 275/65r18's for my pro comps and mounted them in the spring. I do like the way the truck turned out, but I'm still thinking about lowering it next year. Maybe even an LS swap.

Sorry for the Ford, it's the only resent pic I have of the 91. I actually haven't seen it at all this summer, between my parents using it during their renovation and my brother using it while I repair his car, after a wheel fell of on the highway. I'm hoping to get it back in the next few weeks to put the winters back on.

Nice looking truck. Do you tow that boat with it?

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I picked up this 1998 Silverado K2500 last weekend. 7.4l 4l80e. leather, power everything. 4.10s. 116K I am happy with it. it was a desert truck and the paint shows it. otherwise in very good shape and no rustiness whatsoever. there are a few things i want to change/fix, but nothing is hacked or molested much at all.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I usually post on the 67-72 side since that's what I fool with most, but here's my 98 Z71 that I bought one-owner in 2002. I kept if for 12 years and transferred it to my son and now it's back home. My favorite truck I have ever owned. Indigo blue on blue. Still in very nice unrestored condition.

I always felt the 4-door dually was the best looking for a 'slammed' truck.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II

I like the lowered trucks but I do tow a couple boats and a utility trailer. I haul some weight in my truck a few times a year for yard work and hauling lumber for boat shop projects too, so hesitate to do a notch.
