Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's
SuperFly, that truck is awesome.... you need to take some pics with the front all the way up and the rear all the way down.. for that modern gasser look

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's
I have a question for all the baggers here, I have a 71 C-10 1/2 ton front frame section under my 1958 fleetside truck, I have 2-1/2" drop spindles, going to put bags under the front & rear. My body hangs below the bottom of the frame about 4-1/2" (approximately), so with that said will it get the body onto the ground like some of yours here?
I want to keep the stock A-arms also, or do I have to change them to get that low? I wasn't going to notch the rear very much as I want to keep the bed looking stock but am trying to figure out how to raise the bed floor up to notch it alot like you guys did here because these trucks look SWEET!!! |

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's
Fabguy you will have to change the a arms and put an 8 inch notch to get the body on the ground. You may have to put a 10 inch notch in the rear. No matter what you will have to raise the floor of the bed. You can do that by raising the whole floor or you can raise the center. Hope this helps.

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's
Welcome to the board droppedc_class! Stick with it, you've got a great truck coming together. Many of use feel the same way, money is tight and progress is slow.

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's
nothing special, monster notch 10" set to tuck and lay frame with 22" under back, front stock A arms with bags and 2" drop spindels.. lays frame all the way around with stock front end. 8" double conv bags... so all the way up can still tuck over 1/4 of the 20"

in the end are you going to have a full raised bed floor or my suggestion do some plexi to show off that great work.
