After the 3rd set of pushrods I was about to dump mine in the lake. I'm in double what I thought and still need paint!

Beautiful truck! I'm surprised I haven't seen you running around town.

Went with a Pertroix Dizzy this time. Never used that brand before figured I would try it out.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Something I have been wanting to see or hear reviews on that I haven't yet is how the system behaves in everyday driving conditions like quick stops, quick back up maneuvers, stop and go traffic etc.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
This **** is getting ****ing old. I put a carb on it this ***** has zero problems. Put the FiTech on have to roll into the throttle so it will start and dies in gear it should idle up but it won't. I sent Ken and Jeremy a email telling them. Told the I am giving it 1 more try so they need to come up with something. If it does not work I am sending it back and getting my money back and we can part ways. I am over this ****. Makes me not even enjoy my truck now.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
This is the BS email I got back. I am hot right now!!!
I think I had set the idle speed to 700 something for my test car – so, go into the initial setup and set it to your 1000+ rpm as you had it. Make sure you open the throttle screws to suit your engine also. It is the normal setup procedure to adjust the throttle screws so that at warm engine it uses low IAC steps. Also, for cranking, there’s adjustments that you can make yourself to the cranking fuel. It’s engine dependent, so you’ll have to do your own testing to get them set correctly. There’s things that don’t self learn, such as cranking fuel, accel fuel, idle screw settings. Adjust them to get it working as needed. Those are the things that you had issues with, so follow the instructions to set them up, and it should be working. Good luck! |

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
They better not **** me over on my money if this does not work. I find it hard to believe from that last email with all of these they have sold that everyone is havin to make that many adjustments.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"
Well 4 hours later no change. So I have called over a few people. 2 guys own a hot rod resto shops the other owns a tuning shop and builds race engines and the other owns a import shop that does turbos and injection system for ricers. If we all can't get it working no hope for this FiTech on my truck. They are coming over and taking everything off my truck including fuel system. And they are going to install it all from scratch. I will know something before I go to work in the early am. Pulling a all nighter.
