trying to find a pic to show Lowlife how far under the fender these extend, the gap you see all the way around has obviously been filled in

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Looks pretty slick!, much better than doing the old trailer fender setup (yeah i've done it)
Whats going to be the retail price on a set of these ? and any idea on the maximum overall tire size they will lay out on when laying frame with a drop member? i'm running a 20" wheel but i'm going to have some meat wrapped around them someday maybe 275/40 front and 305/40 rear or somewhere in that range. not rubberbands our roads aren't that smooth!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
these should cover a 28 1/2 inch tall combo, that is with your frame flat on the pavement no bolt heads or anything under the frame holding it up at all , there will be a bigger set to accomodate a 31 inch tall combo later, but it will recquire a little modification to the hood lip....the price i am shooting for is the $600-700 range we will see when all production is finished hope to be selling by JUNE !!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
sounds good ill have to check the specs of the tires i want and make sure my offset will clear the inside of the fender without having to hack the inner skin off. and save up ... i dont like road dirt flying under the hood. NEX hotrods eh? does NEX hotrods give you a discount for everytime you mention NEX hotrods ? just kidding, they really should sponsor your machine its obviously going to be killer when done and theyre getting plenty of free advertisement on here from you. keep up the good work !

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
NO ...UNFORTUNATELY (www.nexhotrods.com) doesnt sponsor me i am just hoping that someday NEX HOTRODS will find it in their heart to help a poor little guy like me out so maybe i could do a little advertising along the way ...HEY by the way if you need any work done NEX HOTRODS are great fabricators and builders !! LOL

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Picking up sponsors is NOT an easy thing to do with a large project - unless you're already established... Would be great if it were easier though!!!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Lol , glad you got my sense of humor.. Guess you will have to get this one on the cover of truckin first, then the sponsors will line up for the next project. I love the porterbuilt goods and all the custom rear framework definately show quality stuff!
