Haha, I know how you feel. How do you explain to people that they are indeed looking at an entire truck when they don't see how a chassis + cab + parts = truck! "You have a 1950 chevrolet...where?"

That's why I let some people in at the front door and others come through the garage

I love this build by the way, and very happy that you chose the right colors ; )

I've been following this build from the start, and all I can say is Wow! I wish I had even a fraction of your fabricating talent !
This is going to be one nice truck..

As far as the friends go who were unaware that a vehicle requires not only a frame, but a drivetrain...all I can say is,that you're normal, and they're,well....Momma always said if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. (Chuckle)

I wonder if there are folks who think that vehicles run on magic, gasoline and oil?

And even that is just tooo much work! Now we must have a push button to eliminate the wrist strain of turning that heavy key.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Oh my, as if I didn't have enough wires to fool with already.

I pretty well finished the air ride wiring that all ends up inside the cab under the rear seat. I ran the main power harness to the front fuse panel, but won't connect it til I get the factory wiring sorted out. I stole a floor wiring grommet from one of the Yukons knowing I would need it for this.

Thanks Eric,
It was nice meeting another board member, even if we are newbies. You can just grab the gas pedal when you return the spring compressors.

Those new moldings look awesome. Are they custom manufactured for your crew cab? Or a combo of truck and suburban pieces?

Love the truck shop! I go buy parts from them every year at the Turlock swap meet! They are actually the truck and car shop, which means they have great parts for my '54 Bel Air as well!
