Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Good looking truck, I would lift it and do the bodywork, one at a time. Do the lift which is pretty quick then a bit of bodywork at a time till it's ready for paint that way you can still drive it, your grill is simular to mine but I have wider bars.

i have a parts pickup with a 1973 454 big block TH400 setup in it and had plans on installing it in my hobbytruck , but it looks like even that might be a bit too mush for driving along on a sunny sunday

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
it read somewhere that we have the highest fuelprice in europe , funny thing lettuse rapeseed and sunflower oil used to be 50 eurocent per liter untill they found out you can run diesels on the stuff , now it 1,60 euro per liter
our goverment is taxing the fuel heavily

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
here is my 49 2.5 ton chevy running with a 235 inline 6 under the hood, sm 420 tranny and soon to have a divorced transfer case. using the original 2.5 ton frame it has k2500 axles under it from a 79 chevy. im thinking of putting 37's under it since i have 16.5 rims and it is a pain to try and find reasonably priced tires for 16.5s

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
16.5's are hard to find and costly, cheaper to go up to 17" for rims and tires, at least they are popular. That is what I am running on my 1 ton.
