Great pictures! Good looking trucks! That picture #10 ... the old truck with "rat" on the door.... that thing is slick! pretty creative.

If I can ever get my old trucks on the road I have to come down to Oklahoma for some of your shows. Last time I was at a show down there was at Mustang Ok. during their "hot rod holiday" weekend about...oh...1993. LOL.

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

Cool pics! I really dig the teal/green patina '66 from the cruise-in. I've seen pics of it on Facebook before. Glad you got to hang with some of the board members as well.

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

ok here is the rest of the update. last weekend i went to the stray kat 500 car show in dewey Oklahoma and i must say i was really impressed!!! there was a crazy amount of badass cars and trucks.. I only slept about 2 hours the night before so i got lazy and didnt take many pics but here are the few i got.
i left friday night to meet up with maggie and jason but my truck slung the belt off due to an alt bracket issue. so i limped it home and took about a 2 hour nap then woke up in the middle of the night so i could fix it and hit the road early. this was after 3 days of thrashing trying to get some new stuff put on the truck..

i finally got to meet Jason and maggie and check out her badass shortwide they were both really cool and lookin forward to hanging out again

there were about 600 more badass rides that i didnt get a pic of. sorry for being so lazy.. lol

i made a cool little sign to put on my robot!!!!

after the show we cruised together till we had to go separate ways. we stopped to get a few pics together. the lighting was really harsh and couldnt find a cool location so i wasnt real happy with the pics but it was still awsome to get some pics with jason and maggie

you can see the rest of the pics in maggies build thread. super cool truck!! if you havent seen it go check it out
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=531177

since i didnt take any pics of my new goodies at the show i went for a lil cruise today and snapped a few new pics. i think the shots on the bridge are my favorite so far

i couldnt decide which i liked better so im going to post this one twice.

ok here are a few of the new things.. didnt really take any pics while i was working on these updates but you get the idea

i added some air cylinders to open my bed floor for me. it also holds it down to and i figured out a really sweet way to make it latch and it is totally hidden. I didnt quite have all this lined out at the show but ive got it working pretty good now.. i will try to make a video soon

also installed a 32 gallon fuel cell to get rid of the stock tank in the cab. just had to cut a hole and install my sending unit. only thing that wasnt cool was i had to give up one of my tanks. they were too long to mount them on the side of the frame like i wanted. o well maybe i will chop it down later.

not the greatest pic

cool hanging out with you in tahlequah. good show and a really big time.
i think your truck should have been best of show but the judges must have been shiney paint guys... engineering alone, and you got the winner. hope to catch up with you at another show soon.

I like the second one on the bridge. It shows a little more 3D with partial in the bed shot.
I swear when you do those shots of the truck. They look like out of a magazine or fake. They are so clear it just doesn't seem like a real photo.

Did you come to Texas? Or did Jason and Maggie go to Oklahoma?

They came to Oklahoma for the stray kat 500 in dewey. It was a really good show!! I plan on cruising down to texas for the pistons and paint carshow for sure this year

btw my truck was nominated by Likearoc13 (Big thanks to you man ) for truck of the month. If you guys havent voted then help me out!!

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet

Coulter, I would like to see you draw your truck as it is right now. I knew a few people growing up that could draw really good. I thought theirs was the best I ever seen until I seen yours. Thats just ridiculous how spot on they are.

Also I found the website for the piston show. It says your vehicle must be older then 65.
Wonder why that would be the cut off date when the 66 is the same thing.
Here is a copy of the rules on the page.
Quote:
Your vehicle must be older than 1965.
Motorcycles welcome. Boom Booms Chopper-cabra Corral! All bikes parked together on pavement. Special display of vintage bikes by the Cherokee chapter of the Antique Motorcycle Association.
Please plan to arrive before noon. Plan on staying until the completion of the show. (6pm)
Any beverage allowed inside, but no glass please! Lots of tires inside, you know!
You can bring a tent to sit under, but please respect your neighbors! No open flames. No grills.
Wanna park with your club? Arrive together!
Pre-registraion begins October 1 and closes Friday, November 2, 2013.
Pre-registered paypal participants are subject to a refund only if the show is cancelled on the day before the event, Friday November 8th. If the show proceeds on it's scheduled date, November 9th and is called early due to weather, no refunds.
Gates open at 7:00 am for vendors, at 8:00 am for show vehicles! No exceptions! No earlier! No way!
Please familiarize yourself with our show lay out. You will be allowed to park any trailers in the grass on the east lawns (15,16) once you've unloaded.
