Re: My 52 GMC Build
Getting new tires for the rear today. Also putting it on the DYNO just the way it is Friday morning. To get a base line.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Lower,
Your truck is very cool and love the burn out video. I plan to do a burn out video when I'm done and on the road. I also dont expect my rear tires to last long either!

There will be one for sure.

Well my tire guy hooked me up with a killer deal on a way better tire for the really cheap tire price. The valley pan was a success no oil leak. Time for the dyno tomorrow morn.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Thanks Diesel
Today went great! Got better numbers than I expected for my base tune. 152hp 314tq This is a local speed shop that has been doing this for quite a while. I asked him what flywheel power would be he said, because I have a huge auto trans and axle I'm losing about 100 off each. So that makes it 252hp 414tq SWEET. Also has a very nice curve. So over the winter I can figure out how much more I will be happy with and how I'm going to get it, but still keep it reliable. I'm thinking boost up to 12psi from 8 and a bit more fuel. https://youtu.be/gEID1M2u1BQ

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Love that sound too
Thanks My original hope when I was building the truck was around 200hp and 400tq at the wheels so I'm not far off.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Keep it near there before you're searching for another engine to build.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Oh yes I know. I'm not turning it up as much as I originally was planning. Right now I'm thinking up to 10 psi and add water alcohol injection for when I want a bit more?. I'll be doing research over the winter.

Re: My 52 GMC Build
Well it official we are driving my truck pulling my gray camping trailer to Charlotte North Carolina for the Goodguys car show. We will be leaving 3 weeks today. Then after the show we are taking a few days to see the sites on the way home. Should be about 700mi down and 1200-1300mi home. Maybe I'll see one of you guys there?
