Thank you! We saw it for sale on FB last Sunday and wife insisted I get it ASAP as our first new burb was a 90, plus it looks like a little brother to our dually. So, wanting to keep marital bliss, I was in Memphis a few days later to pick it up.

Her is a Pic of my 1978 I just pick up from Victoria B.C. This was a one owner truck ,who I purchased it from. The paint is 20 yrs old looks , and only one very small chip on the passenger door. I plan to do an 6.0l LS swap in the spring as I have the donor vehicle already in the driveway. It was a 4x4 and converted to 2wd .The chase is ALL BRAND NEW underneath. The underside is as clean as the top.

I'll go ahead and throw mine in the mix, even though it has a long way to go still.

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

So I went up to the farm to see if I could get some nice pics that justified the truck for what it really is.

Not as bad as I have made it out.

I do not think this truck has ever been in an accident and all the panels seem to be straighter than one could expect from a 40year old.

I had removed the license plate whe. I started to look at getting the Towbar made up.

It was held in place by two rusty panel screws, one broke off in the backing plate, the other came out, so I just taped it in the rear window.

Thames river in the background.

From the farm I headed toward Rochester......

Of course stopping in for some fuel.

Then a drive down the bypass motorway to get a good feel for the handling.

It weaved lightly, and drew to the right all the time.

Against my Citroen Berlingo

Confrontation?
