Re: SPID Picture thread?

Spid pic of a 72 C10 or whatever GMC calls them. I dont recall ever looking at a spid that looks like this. I posted in a sep thread trying to see if I can see what seat cover this would have had with the info on this spid ... lots of views but no feedback.

Figured Id post it here just because its an interesting one to me and maybe it would be to others.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

a bit of an oddball - Cheyenne Super SWB but no Amp/Oil/Temp gauge package....and NO Tinted Glass! I don't think I have ever seen a Super without tinted glass, perhaps the same with the gauges.

This truck has ran across Mecum at least twice in the past year and neither time did it meet the reserve. Memory serves me it climbed to $50k the first time and about $45k the second.

Cheyenne Super is a trim package so must other options had to be ordered. Here s another low option Cheyenne Super Spid and no A/C in this truck.

I just picked up this 67 K10 Suburban GB door. I would have loved to own this Canadian built Vermilion Custom GMC 4X4.

Re: SPID Picture thread?

low options is an understatement! no tinted glass, no brake booster and no gauge package. those were regularly no brainers when ordered by the dealership. yuck.

As far as I am aware, the truck's ran across the block at least 3x's and no sale. The last was at GAA in November ---- topped out at $45K. apparently the consigner needs to reassess life. It is a nice truck

Re: SPID Picture thread?

Mines hard to read. From what I've seen my truck is on the rarer side.
Some great options like 402, TH400, leaf springs, 12bolt posi, 4.10, SWB stepside

Lightbulb Re: SPID Picture thread?

Probably the lowest optioned SPID I have seen. Only the painted rear bumper. It is a 8 cylinder truck though..

This one beats it.. 6 cyl and NO listed options

Re: SPID Picture thread?

It could have heater delete, making it less than "usual".

The first one has special paint?

1969 CustomCamper/10 I don't think they are all too common. Someone ordered this truck for a very specific purpose

It's a Canada thing, even my fully loaded 71 ss454 has everything under the sun but NO A/C!! Back then it was thought air conditioning would only be needed 2 out of 12 months.

Anyone know why some spids don’t list interior color or option number?
