Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
This is my first post to the site so I thought I would include my new project I bought today for $800.00. Going to go pick it up this weekend. Yes it does run and drive!!! I've been doing my homework on everything I want to do to it. The "to do" list will come later and more pics.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Had planned to do strictly a frame swap with a 86 3/4 4x4 Suburban - but one thing lead to another and we got carried away.
Some of the additional items are: LQ9 install out of a 07 Escalade Navigation Subwoofer, amp (under 2nd and 3rd rows) and 4 more speakers Back up camera Hitch New tilt steering Power windows and locks Parking sensors which also work as laser jammers (who'd have thought?) New front buckets with heat and power lumbar (it gets cold up here you know!) 3pt seat belts front and new lap belts in rear Intermittent wipers Gentex rearview mirror with compass, temp and homelink New upolstrey and painted door panels 4 speed transmission Truck runs great - averages 15 mile/gal (Cdn). Vehicle sits about the same as a stock 72 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban. There is no lift kit at all. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Looks Great! Love the bucket seats too! What trans and transfer case combo did you use with your lq9 engine? I am wanting to swap a lq4 into mine. I have a 3/4ton 4x4 72 suburban.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
thanks! I ended up going with a 40L60 and a NP208. it's nice having that 4th gear. At 1500 rpm I'm cruising at 60 mph and getting better gas mileage.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
BennettGM, I would love to see more pictures of your burb. Did you move the axle forward on the 86 frame?

Hi Jeremy - if I remember correctly we shortened the frame by about 3 inches.
